The rugs from the Iranian region of Abadeh are known for their robustness, making them the perfect everyday companions. Their knot-density of 150.000-300.000 knots per m2 make them relatively fine vis-à-vis other robust rugs.

Abadeh rugs are usually knotted in reddish tones with a rosette in the centre and blue shades. They are inspired by the carpets of the Ghashgai nomads who passed through the region. Following their example, the carpets often feature nature motifs and ornaments, such as those of animals and plants.

Owners of Abadeh carpets enjoy their artwork for a long time. Due to its durability, it is suitable for heavily frequented areas in the house. As a runner in the entrance area, for example, it can be used without fear of rapid wear and tear.
